New technologies include the Flex Force and Flex Fuse, which combine to form the Flex Con system. A tapered and elongated box-frame shaft is composed of Flex Force and Flex Fuse graphite for precise control of the ball. A shock-absorbing polymer is integrated within the graphite’s resin for increased racket flex, for a more plush feel. Returning technologies include the VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh) , 2G-NAMD FLEX FORCE, and the Isometric sweet spot.

Groundstrokes

The Yonex V Core Pro 100 is stable and precise from the baseline. It has an easier swing weight than the other rackets in the V Core range, and the feel makes it easier to rally from the baseline. There is nice balance of power and control, with average access to spin and slice. The dampened feel offers good comfort and ball pocketing, and the 100 square inch head size provides solid control. While it is a bit low powered, players can hit a variety of effective groundstrokes due to the flexibility, control and comfort. Targeting is still great, even on aggressive swings.

Volleys

The Yonex V Core Pro 100 is a top notch racket up at the net, offering a forgiving feel and good maneuverability. There is nice pop and good stability, with the racket feeling comfortable during a variety of situations. It is easy to get into position, and there is enough feel for delicate or touch volleys. It holds up against big hitters, and there is enough power for smash volleys. Off center hits are more forgiving due to great flexibility.

Serves and Returns

The Yonex V Core Pro 100 offers great placement for serves, even if it is a bit low powered. The response is plush and comfortable, and the easy swing weight can generate good racket head speed. It performs well on flat serves, and it performs decently well on a variety of serves, thus making it a good all rounder. It is harder to serve with spin though, and some may desire a bit more pop. Precision, comfort, and control are the main highlights in this category.

The maneuverability helps with offensive and defensive returns. The balance and control shines again in this category, creating a variety of options for the player. Chipping it in the court, topspin, and aggressive returns are all viable options for a solid returning game. The stability holds up against big hitters and it is whippy enough for fast shots. In an overall sense, The Yonex V Core Pro 100 is a solid racket for baseliners who prefer a slightly more potent but familiar frame.
